Welcome to the prop bet tracker. As MLB season gets into high gear, another way to get in on the action is to analyze the day’s best prop bets – from strikeouts to home runs, first to five runs to total bases logged.

Each day, we will try to identify a few picks that are ready to explode in the prop market.

Joey Gallo to Homer (+350, SugarHouse)

I thought that the Rangers made for a special play Monday, but they didn’t exactly pop off like I had imagined. Let’s not fret – the Rangers should be in a great spot Tuesday, and Joey Gallo did get loose for a long ball. And Tuesday? Oh baby, lefties are in for a treat against José Ureña. This season, the sinkerballer hasn’t gotten much sink – he’s allowed 1.95 HR/9. I love Gallo in this spot.

José Berríos Under 5.5 Strikeouts (-146, FanDuel)

The White Sox still haven’t gotten all of their pieces of their loaded lineup back, but they are certainly clicking at the dish. Long known for slamming lefties, they have now been assaulting all pitching, racking up the league’s best wRC+ and wOBA over the last 14 days. The White Sox have lessened their strikeout rate against righties as the season went along (23.1%), and José Berríos has just been average this season. This could be an easy win.
