Each day at FTN, we will try to find some unique prop bets that we can play to gain an edge. Here are a few that stick out on tonight’s slate.

Milwaukee-Pittsburgh Over 8.0 Runs (-115, DraftKings)

Have the Brew Crew finally figured things out at the dish? Let’s hope so — with their three-headed monster at the top of the rotation, they need a little offense. Over the last seven days, both of these teams rank in the top-10 in wOBA with the Brewers ranking fourth and the Pirates ranking ninth. And with Freddy Peralta involved in a piggyback situation, there should be plenty of folks crossing home plate.

Jonathan Schoop to HR and Team to Win (+475, DraftKings)

I’m riding with Schoop here, and this bet really could apply to a number of Detroit bats. The team is heating up at the dish recently, and that’s a good sign, especially with a banged-up Schoop confirmed in the two-hole for tonight’s game. The Orioles are rolling out Alexander Wells — and the Aussie native has struggled recently, logging a 5.87 FIP in a small sample of 10.1 IPs.
