Welcome to the prop bet tracker. As MLB season gets into high gear, another way to get in on the action is to analyze the day’s best prop bets – from strikeouts to home runs, first to five runs to total bases logged.

Each day, we will try to identify a few picks that are ready to explode in the prop market.

Sean Manaea Over 6.5 Strikeouts (+108, FanDuel)

This is spicy. Look, we took some burns this week with people missing on the hook – I get it. But Sean Manaea has been juicy as hell. He’s upped his velocity recently, and that’s been good – the dude has rocked a massive 25.3% strikeout rate so far this season. And, as much as we all want to love the Mariners, they stink offensively – and rock a 26.2% strikeout rate to boot. We project him for 7.1 strikeouts today, so it’s time to fly.

Adbert Alzolay Over 4.5 Strikeouts (-139, Unibet)

The Cardinals suck against righties – this isn’t like a cute hometown-bias thing, this is a “they are legit horrendous” thing. They rank third worst in team wOBA and wRCc+, and I will continue to bet against a team that stinks at the dish. Adbert Alzolay? Yea, he can cook. He will deliver that slider repeatedly, as it’s the pitch he throws most in his arsenal.
