Welcome to the prop bet tracker. As MLB season gets into high gear, another way to get in on the action is to analyze the day’s best prop bets – from strikeouts to home runs, first to five runs to total bases logged.

Each day, we will try to identify a few picks that are ready to explode in the prop market.

Wil Crowe, SP, Pittsburgh Pirates

More than 1.5 home runs allowed (+180, DraftKings Sportsbook)

I feel bad picking on Wil Crowe, but I am going to do it anyway. The young arm has a lot of things working against him Thursday – he’s allowed 1.88 HR/9 this season, and he is pitching in Great American Ballpark. Cincinnati’s home part ranks second in home run factor on the year, and the Reds are absolutely smashing opposing arms at the plate – in the last week, they lead the league with a .238 ISO, .377 WOBA, and have slammed 11 dingers in 6 games.

Triston McKenzie, SP, Cleveland Guardians

Over 4.5 hits allowed (-140, DraftKings Sportsbook)

The Blue Jays are an absolute juggernaut offense – we know about the season-long numbers, and they have terrorized Cleveland pitching this series. Over the last week, the Jays rank only behind the Reds in both WOBA and ISO. Triston McKenzie has really been hurt by the free passes (16.2%), but he’s also allowed a lot of hard contact with 1.99 HR/9 this season.
