Welcome to the prop bet tracker. As MLB season gets into high gear, another way to get in on the action is to analyze the day’s best prop bets – from strikeouts to home runs, first to five runs to total bases logged.

Each day, we will try to identify a few picks that are ready to explode in the prop market.

Jon Lester over 5.5 hits allowed

(-115, DraftKings Sportsbook)

Look, I get it. It probably gets a bit boring as I just keep picking on and betting against the Cardinals. But keep in mind – they are really bad. Like horrendously bad. And front and center in this is Jon Lester. Why the Cardinals acquired him, I do not know – Lester has been very hittable, posting a 1.62 WHIP and over his last 11 starts, he’s allowed 6 or more hits. Bank on this one.

Justin Turner to hit a home run

(+475, BetMGM)

Man, the New York Mets are fading fast. For my friends that are Mets fans, this was inevitable – it’s the glass-half-empty approach that I have espoused as a St. Louis Blues fan for years. Taijuan Walker has been crushed for a 6.26 ERA over the last month. He’s allowed 11 homers in his last five starts, and righties — not lefties — have given him fits. Bet on success from Justin Turner.
