It’s Thursday around Major League Baseball, which means day games throughout the day, as well as a tasty night slate. Below, we’ll be focusing on one of the night games.

I haven’t done many player props with the free bet of the day this season, but this one really stands out this evening. Kutter Crawford holds a 4.95 ERA, 5.93 FIP and .488 opponent SLG since his June 4 start against the Braves. Prior to that start, he had 3.51, 3.44 and .348 numbers, respectively
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has bounced back in 2024, posting a .396 wOBA, .222 ISO and .544 SLG against right-handed pitching, all his best numbers since his 2021 breakout season. With Crawford’s inability to keep the ball in the ballpark of late, Guerrero is not only a good bet to reach two or more total bases, but his .487 xSLG, 91.1 aEV and 16.3 aLA in 10 career plate appearances against Crawford makes his home run prop of +540 (FanDuel) an intriguing play as well.
