MLB Prop Bet of the Day

Cristian Javier OVER 5.5 Ks versus Toronto (-125, BetMGM

Once wild and untamed, Javier has harnessed his command, missed bats and posted a nearly impeccable 1.75 ERA. Slicing measurable numbers off his BB/9 mark, he’s blossomed into a highly reliable and largely consistent starter. His well-located fastball/slider combo (3.75 K/BB) is downright wicked, a deadly tandem which have often dumbfounded the opposition. It explains why he’s booked six Ks or more in three of his last four starts. Toronto, thanks to its brilliant baby birds, hasn’t needed mother Jay to chew and deliver its food. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Co. rank No. 7 in lowest strikeout percentage and No. 12 in total OPS in the majors. Still, the proposed number, a full K lower than his last two turns, is too irresistible to ignore.
