Today’s Best MLB Props

Andrew Heaney Over 6.5 K’s

(-125, DraftKings Sportsbook)

Andrew Heaney is the definition of a boom/bust pitcher. He is excellent at racking up strikeouts and generating swings and misses, but he has often struggled preventing power when he is unable to avoid contact. However, this matchup against the Orioles should work in his favor as this projected lineup for the O’s has much less power against LHPs than they do against RHPs, and they also happen to strike out quite a bit. All nine hitters in this projected lineup have a strikeout above 21% against LHPs since the start of last season, and six of them are up over 24%. Meanwhile, all but two of those hitters have an ISO below .175.

Bobby Witt Jr. Over 0.5 Stolen Bases

(+290, DraftKings Sportsbook)

As I’m sure you’ve heard, stolen bases are way up to start the year, as the new rules have made it much easier for baserunners to get an advantage on the base paths this season, and this is a great spot for Bobby Witt Jr. to take advantage of that. Before you can steal a base, you first have to get on base, and Yusei Kikuchi really struggled with keeping RHHs off the bases last year, as he allowed a 14% walk rate and a .381 wOBA.

Aaron Judge Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs

(-120, DraftKings Sportsbook)

Can also take a look at the over 1.5 total bases play at +110 here for Aaron Judge, but I love this spot as a potential home run opportunity for Judge. He is at home against Matt Strahm, a LHP that struggles to keep the ball on the ground, that sounds like a dream come true here for Judge who had a .350 ISO against LHPs last year. I also like this HR prop at +230.
