Welcome to another edition of Sunday’s MLB Best Bets, presented by FTN! Today we’ll look at the final game of a weekend series between the Miami Marlins and Atlanta Braves at Truist Park.

Atlanta Braves vs. Miami Marlins

The red-hot Braves will look for yet another series sweep this afternoon with Spencer Strider on the mound matched up with last year’s National League CY Young winner, Sandy Alcantara. The Braves have had their fair share of success against Alcantara over the last two seasons, as he’s given up three or more earned runs in two of his last three starts against them. Marcell Ozuna is one bat in the Atlanta lineup who has been very effective against Alcantara. Ozuna is hitting .471 against Sandy in 19 plate appearances.

Marcell Ozuna To Hit A “Single”

(+108 , 1 Unit, FanDuel Sportsbook)

Marcell Ozuna was great in June for Atlanta with a .321 average and 26 hits, 15 RBIs and a .960 OPS. Ozuna is on an 11-game hit streak and has hit safely in 22 of his last 24 games. Of Ozuna’s 26 hits in June, 17 were singles, and seven of his eight hits against Alcantara have been singles as well. With a hot bat, familiar matchup and good history on our side, we’ll back Ozuna to keep his hitting streak alive this afternoon. Best of Luck!
