Welcome to another Saturday edition of MLB best bets. The All-Star break is finally over, and I couldn’t be more excited to get back to MLB action. Saturday, we’ll take a look into Game 2 of a weekend series between the Chicago White Sox and Atlanta Braves, taking place in Truist Park.

Lance Lynn will take the mound for the Southsiders as they try to bounce back from an ugly loss Frida night in Atlanta. Lynn has been woeful both at home and on the road this season, entering with a 6.35 ERA across his last seven starts. The Braves on the other hand continued their scoring summer at the plate as they put up 4 runs on Michael Kopech in the first inning Friday. Atlanta comes in ranked in the top five in wRC+ and on-base percentage against RHP this season.

The Braves picked up right where they left off to begin the second half of the season. Atlanta comes in as the best scoring team in the first five innings in the MLB, averaging 3.61 runs per game. Lance Lynn has had strikeout success lately but has still surrendered at least 3 runs to opposing teams in eight of his last nine starts. Saturday, we’ll back the best team in baseball to keep feasting at the plate.
