Seattle Mariners OVER 4.5 Runs Scored

Julio Rodriguez may get to this total by himself, as he racked up a total of 17 hits over a four-game span last week (the most over a four-game span since 1901), but this is more about Touki Toussaint. The White Sox pitcher has walked 37 batters in his 50.1 innings this season (6.22 BB/9). He’s issued at least four free passes in three straight starts and six of his last seven starts and allowed four homers over his last three outings. He’s also given up at least three runs in four straight starts. When you’re walking three or four batters per outing, you’re bound to get into trouble.
The Mariners completed the three-game sweep in Houston this past weekend and racked up 19 runs in the process. Seattle has won six straight games and has outscored their opponents 41-26. As for Julio, he’s slashing .412/.444/.659 with a 1.103 OPS in the month of August. He has 35 hits, including nine doubles, four homers and nine stolen bases this month.
On top of all of that, the White Sox have the fifth-highest bullpen ERA on the season at 4.70, and it’s at 4.92 over the last 30 days.
