Welcome to this Friday edition of MLB best bets at FTN. My betting strategy is different from what you may be accustomed to, especially if you’re a consistent follower of the superstar that is MLBDream. I’m not on the hunt for wins, I’m on the hunt for the largest edges possible. Typically, I find these in longshot bets. Hopefully some of you have been tailing along this PGA season, for example:
In baseball, my favorite “bet” has become PrizePicks stacks when I’m not laddering strikeouts.
Best MLB Bets for Friday
Stack the Braves on PrizePicks
Not exactly a traditional bet, but it’s all I’ve got for Friday. Fortunately, I think it has extremely high expected value. Chris Meaney and I recorded a PrizePicks strategy video a few weeks ago that dives deep into the advantage of stacking, and the available props for these Braves hitters are exactly what we’re looking for:
This screenshot is from our FREE PrizePicks Edge Tool. These probabilities aren’t quite as high as we’d like for most (especially since we’ll be taking overs on them all), but the correlation is immense. These hits + runs + RBIs props offer the most correlation, and these hitters are 4-5-6-7-8-9 in the expected order. I’ve already filled our pick tracker with four plays involving these guys, with an emphasis on the lefties since Chris Bassitt has severe splits thanks to his heavy breaking ball usage and low changeup usage.
Keep an eye on the bet tracker for more throughout the day, and I will likely add some extra PrizePicks (use promo code FTN when depositing) plays as the day progresses and they add more props. The season is going quite well, so consider using promo code PRO for 20% an FTNDaily subscription to make sure you’re in the Discord and getting all notifications of new plays in the tracker:
