The offseason is over, and in addition to covering DFS, I will be offering up my bets each week. The purpose of this writeup is to highlight some of my favorite college football props to bet, give you my reasons and direct you to the site with the best line.

Elijah Arroyo Anytime TD

(+425, DraftKings Sportsbook)

It’s no secret that I’m all-in on the Miami Hurricanes this season, and my expectations are stratospheric. Arroyo has dealt with injuries for the past two seasons but is finally healthy and many industry experts have pegged him as a breakout candidate. He was a top-10 TE coming out of high school and has seemingly endless upside. Cam Ward is a terminator-like quarterback, and his efficiency will put Arroyo in a position to succeed, especially in the red zone. The offensive coordinator has been adamant that Arroyo will thrive with the expanded playbook. Don’t be surprised if he has a Bauer Sharp-like coming-out party.

LeQuint Allen 100+ Rushing Yards

(-105, DraftKings Sportsbook) When you look around the college football landscape, it’s common to see programs rolling with a committee at running back. The Orange have an elite rusher in Allen, and he is expected to get a heavy workload this year. Dual-threat Garrett Shrader is no longer in college, and new QB Kyle McCord (OSU transfer) is not known for using his legs, which means Allen won’t have to share touches like in 2023. Keep in mind that he rushed for over 1,000 yards last year with Shrader, and he eclipsed 100 yards in seven different games. They are going up against a MAC team Saturday, and I’m looking for Allen to start the season off with a bang.
