After an entertaining and profitable first two weeks of college football, we now have a little bit of new data to make our pick with. This is a tremendous opportunity to take the value oddsmakers give us before adjusting to what’s happening on the field. Some of our best plays will come before the end of the first month.

One of the simplest ways to walk away a bigger winner each college football Saturday is to take advantage of parlays. Stacking lines and totals offer tremendously good value compared to individual bets. Of course we want to jump into the action.

We have three great parlays available that we had to jump on. We’ll continue to break down the main slate like this for each week of the season. Welcome to Week 3.

Cincinnati Bearcats at Indiana Hoosiers (noon ET Saturday)

(Cincinnati -4, O/U 49.5, DraftKings Sportsbook)

I’m calling my optimism on Indiana in the preseason misguided. It’s time to sell the shares and make a profit while we can. This team has a talented but inconsistent offense, and a defense that took a step back after last season’s incredibly good display.

Cincinnati is a complete team boasting top-five overall talent. Their efficiency has jumped upwards across the board. This is a prove-it game and they’ll come charged up and ready to play.

Our bet: Cincinnati -4 (+100) and Over 49.5 (-105) — combined +290

Coastal Carolina Chanticleers at Buffalo Bulls (noon ET Saturday)

(Coastal Carolina -14, O/U 58, DraftKings Sportsbook)

Buffalo is talented, but the spanking Nebraska laid down on them showed they don’t have top-of-the-line ability. Meanwhile, Coastal Carolina checks all of the boxes. Their offense is spectacular, and the defense is one of the best of the Group of Five teams. I think Coastal should be a top-10 team.

That said, I expect a high-scoring game between two highly competitive teams. Buffalo is more balanced than in recent years, but the Chanticleers simply do it all better and more consistently. This is a must-watch game even if you don’t put money on it.

Our bet: Coastal Carolina -14 (-105) and Over 58 (-110) — combined +272

Western Michigan Broncos at Pittsburgh Panthers (noon ET Saturday)

(Pittsburgh -15, O/U 59, DraftKings Sportsbook)

The public is slamming the Panthers after they won against Tennessee last week, but we’re playing as sharps. I love that this line has grown because Western Michigan is a nice team with a great defense. And quarterback Kaleb Eleby is capable of finding success against a Power 5 foe.

Some of this is I expect a bit of a letdown for Pitt. The program is buzzing off two wins featuring great passing output from Kenny Pickett and company. And their own defense has been quite good. But 15 points is a lot to give off their big win and the total is wildly overshot.

Our bet: Western Michigan +15 (-115) and Under 59 (-110) — combined +256
