College Football Betting – Week 2 Parlay Picks

At the beginning of each week, we highlight our favorite CFB bets so you can get in early and lock in the best possible odds. This companion piece will drop each Friday, where I will talk about some advantageous parlays you can consider and the reasons why I favor them so much. These could be as simple as picking a side and the total of a single game or stringing together a couple of games into the same parlay.

I’ve dug in and identified two parlays that I think are worth jumping on this week. Week 2 offers some really intriguing matchups and I’m excited to share with you guys my favorite parlays.

Old Dominion Monarchs vs. ECU Pirates
Baylor Bears vs. BYU Cougars

ECU -12.5, O/U 50.5
BYU -2.5, O/U 53
DraftKings Sportsbook

If you read my betting breakdown earlier in the week, you would have seen that I recommend Baylor +4 — we have unfortunately lost some value, but ultimately I think they upset BYU, so at this point I’m moving to the moneyline. Baylor has a fierce competitor at QB in Blake Shapen and enough talent at the skill positions to smack BYU in the mouth. BYU has most of their relevant offensive weapons from a year ago except Tyler Allgeier. These teams feature two of the best offensive lines in the country and that gritty battle in the trenches is going to be fascinating to watch. With that said, my lean is Baylor and at this point +2.5 does us no good so I’m riding them to win outright.

Old Dominion is coming off a big upset over Virginia Tech in Week 1 while ECU pushed NC State to the brink before eventually dropping that game. You might think there is a talent gap between these two teams that favors ECU, but the Monarchs have playmakers at multiple positions. Led by QB Hayden Wolff, ODU has a strong lead back in Blake Watson and capable pass-catchers in Ali Jennings as well as Zach Kuntz. 12.5 points is a gift, and it will be one of my biggest plays of the week on its own, but I love pairing it up with Baylor for an underdog special.

Best Bet

ODU +12.5 (-105) and Baylor ML (+110) — Combined +310

Marshall Thundering Herd vs. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
Kentucky Wildcats vs. Florida Gators

Notre Dame -20.5, O/U 50
Florida -6, O/U 51.5
DraftKings Sportsbook

In this parlay we are looking to attack two totals that feel way too low, making the over extremely advantageous. Kentucky/Florida is one of the most anticipated games of the week — both of these offenses should be operating at their full capability. Kentucky hung 37 points last week with QB Will Levis throwing for 303 yards and 3 TDs. The running game wasn’t very useful, but playmakers like Tayvion Robinson (6-136-0) and Dane Key (4-53-1) showed an instant rapport with Levis. Meanwhile, Anthony Richardson rushed for over 100 yards and 3 TDs in a close Florida win over Utah last week. This is the type of game that will likely come down to the wire with both teams scoring generously.

The Notre Dame offense struggled to generate much of anything against Ohio State in Week 1, but going up against Marshall is a significantly easier task. I’m expecting a huge bounceback performance from the Irish in their home opener — if Marshall can reach even 10 points in this game, it should sail over 50.

Best Bet

Marshall/Notre Over 50 (-115) and Kentucky/Florida Over 51.5 (-110) — Combined +256
