Multiple times each week, FTN Bets’ resident college basketball junkie, Brad Evans, will attempt to posterize the ‘books with his favorite selections, whether sides, totals, teasers or parlays. As always, fade or follow Brad’s picks — fading is encouraged — that’s up to you.

2-leg alternative line parlay play: Indiana ML, San Diego St. -13 (Tipico Sportsbook)

Odds: +134

Leg 1: Rutgers at Indiana (ML)

Last week in Iowa City, Indiana pulled off arguably the biggest Power Five stunner of the season. In this topsy-turvy and wildly unpredictable year, that’s saying something. The Hoosiers defense applied foot to throat on a Hawkeyes club normally peak efficient on offense. For 20 minutes, Iowa, the No. 1 team in the country in points per possession scored, simply couldn’t hit the broadside of the nearest, longest and tallest barn. When the final horn sounded, Iowa’s 1.010 points per possession scored was far and away its lowest mark in 15 contests. Trayce Jackson-Davis’ radiant execution around the basket was complemented beautifully by perimeter producers Armann Franklin and Rob Phinisee. Against a Rutgers team in a five-game tailspin giving up an uncharacteristic 1.080 points per possession, IU should add to its growing tournament resume. The Scarlet Knights’ absent defense in the post (No. 11 in 2PT% in B1G) and laughable free-throw shooting (55.2%) places them in a very disadvantageous position. Another win and Archie Miller may only have one cheek on the hotseat.

Leg 2: San Diego St. (-13) at Air Force

Depantsed. Tarred and feathered. Publicly shat on. What the Aztecs unleashed on Fox Sports 1 Friday night was a demoralization of unmatched proportions. It was an attack on par with Coach K scolding a student reporter who dared ask a reasonable and well-presented question. Air Force was endlessly blitzed for 40 minutes as SDSU bombed away from three (13-for-29) and scored repeatedly on second-chance opportunities (20 offensive rebounds), winning 98-61. Five Aztecs, three off the bench, reached double figures. The Falcons, which coughed up 27 turnovers and tallied a chuckle worthy 0.85 points per possession, lived down to their 300-plus KenPom rating. In this unique conference season, teams typically install successful adjustments in back-to-backs. See what Colorado St. achieved at Utah St. However, the feckless Falcons rank north of No. 300 nationally in nine different offensive and defensive categories. They only have one direction to go, but outmatched on the glass and sloppy with the rock it’s quite unlikely they keep it competitive.

Season record: 10-15
