It’s crazy how sports work. The first night after college football ends, and college basketball took center stage, with the last undefeated team and No. 1 Purdue both losing. Wednesday night has the potential for some more upsets as well as conference play heats up. Let’s take a look at the card and find some winners.

All odds are per DraftKings Sportsbook.

Navy at Holy Cross

7 p.m. ET
Navy -4

This one should be played at an extremely slow pace with very little scoring. Holy Cross is averaging less than 66 possessions per game and are one of the worst offenses in the country. They’ve scored less than 60 points in three of their last four games vs. D1 opponents and have done so six times overall. Defensively, they are pretty leaky too, but it’s not like Navy’s offense is great either as they are 326th in 2pt% (45.2%) and 334th in 3pt% (28.5%). The Midshipmen do two things really well and that’s force turnovers and defend the three-point line. I just don’t see a ton of points scored in this one.

The Pick

Under 134.5

Louisiana at Troy

8:30 p.m. ET
Troy -2.5

I like the over in this game, and I think there are several matchup advantages that tell me both teams should score. Troy plays with an above average pace and is top 25 in FTA/FGA on offense, which means they get to the line plenty. They are also a very good offensive rebounding team which bodes well against Louisiana who is 352nd at preventing them. Bob Marlin’s bunch is 30th in turnover percentage on defense while Troy is 333rd in that category on offense so Louisiana should be set up with some easy basket opportunities. The Trojans have scored 80 points or more at home in all but one game this season.

The Pick

Over 146
