Now that the Super Bowl is over, more people will be watching college basketball, as we are about a month away from conference tournament time. It’s kind of a weak card for a Monday, so I’m going to give you a couple of futures to play.

Remember, we are looking for value and playing these at a smaller unit size hoping to get one right to cover the other potential losses.

Virginia to win the ACC Regular Season

(+900, FanDuel Sportsbook)

The Hoos have won eight in a row and have slowly gotten people to believe they are for real. The team is clamping down on defense and getting a little bit more from their offense. Down the stretch, they have four games at home and three on the road, with the toughest being at Duke or at Virginia Tech. I can see one more loss for the Cavaliers overall, making them 16-4 in conference. First-place North Carolina is one game up on them, but I have them losing to both UVA and Duke on the road, giving them a 16-4 ACC record and the tiebreaker to the team out of Charlottesville. At that price, it’s worth a shot to play Virginia.

Charlotte to win the AAC Regular Season

(+340, BetMGM)

The 49ers have a great path to winning the AAC with an easy schedule down the stretch and a victory over FAU in their pocket already. Charlotte’s road games are at Memphis, Tulsa and East Carolina, which could produce only one loss. The Owls have struggled a ton to put teams away this season and have road trips to USF, Memphis and North Texas still to come. FAU is the best team talent-wise in the conference, but they are having problems getting everyone’s best shot on a nightly basis. The home games are even tough for Florida Atlantic against SMU, Memphis and Tulane.

Stetson to win the Atlantic Sun Regular Season

(+1200, BetRivers)

This is a fascinating price for the Hatters, who are coming off a win over the first-place Eastern Kentucky and have an easy schedule down the stretch. Donnie Jones’ team has three straight at home followed by winnable road games at Jacksonville and North Florida. Meanwhile, EKU’s squad is playing at Bellarmine, Austin Peay and Lipscomb with easy home games versus North Alabama and Central Arkansas. This price is insane, and I’d love to take advantage of it.
