One week into the college basketball season, and it’s time to make wild assumptions about every team in America. We’re still getting some rough matchups, but as we approach the holidays, MTE’s start coming into focus as well. Let’s take a look at Monday’s slate.

Arizona comes back home after a 78-73 win over Duke on the road. It’s a quick turnaround for the Wildcats, who host Southern Monday night. The Jaguars lost 108-75 at TCU in their opener but then 48 hours later won 85-71 at UNLV in a 68-possession game. Southern is shooting 50% from three-point land and scored 78 at Arizona last year early in the season. This one should see plenty of possessions as both teams push the ball when they have the advantage.
