We cruise into Week 11 of the college football season after a wild Saturday, and things kick off with a three-game MACtion DFS slate Tuesday. There will be full coverage for each and every main slate for the entire week, so the grind isn’t stopping anytime soon.
In this breakdown, I will highlight the top options at each position while also providing you with a core to build around in all formats. Let’s dive right in.
Team | Odds | Team | Odds | Total |
Ball State | +250 | NIU | -310 (-8.5) | 44 |
CMU | +130 | WMU | -155 (-3) | 58 |
Ohio | -310 (-7.5) | Buffalo | +250 | 44 |
Bauer is an elite dual-threat quarterback and a must-play Tuesday in all formats. He is obviously going to be one of the chalkiest players on the slate but there is no reason to get cute by trying to fade. He has rushed for over 300 yards and 9 TDs since taking over as the full-time starter. He has room to improve when it comes to his actual passing ability but has reached 1,300 yards and 6 scores through the air. The Broncos are giving up over 140 YPG on the ground to their opponents.
Kurtis Rourke, Ohio — Rourke has been far less explosive this year, but he has remained productive nonetheless. He has thrown at least 30 attempts in each of the last four games while surpassing 275 yards in three of those four. He’s also enough of a rushing threat to keep opposing defenses on their toes. So far, he has rushed for almost 200 yards and passed for 1,656 while scoring 12 touchdowns (10 passing/2 rushing).
Kiael Kelly, Ball State — Kelly is yet another mobile QB in the MAC with a dynamic ability to make big plays. He has rushed for 90-plus yards in three of his past four games and has 4 touchdowns during that same time frame. He isn’t the most accurate passer, but he can pay off his cheap prices with his rushing stats easily.
Rocky Lombardi, NIU — Lombardi has been highly productive the past three years with NIU since transferring from Michigan State, but he has struggled to stay healthy, which has severely capped his overall upside. He broke through last week against CMU by throwing for 298 yards and 3 touchdowns on 35 pass attempts.
Brown has solidified himself as one of the top RBs in the conference and has now rushed for 841 yards and scored a total of 8 touchdowns (7 rushing/1 receiving). He exploded for 167 yards on 22 carries last week after a couple of clunkers. Brown has been a menace in conference play with three different games above 150 rushing yards in the past month and a half.
Jalen Buckley, WMU — He will be going up against the CMU rush defense, a unit that has surrendered over 150 YPG on the ground. He is coming off a sensational 25 carry/138 yards/2 TD performance against EMU a couple of weeks back and he is likely to be one of the most popular players at the position Tuesday.
Marion Lukes, CMU — Myles Bailey is questionable with an ankle injury, but he has been practicing so he is probably in line to play, possibly even in a limited capacity. Lukes is the back to own even if Bailey plays due to his heavy involvement in the offense. He steamrolled NIU for 202 yards last week and has now toted the rock at least 14 times in three straight games.
Marquez Cooper, Ball State — Cooper is still chugging along for Ball State as he is getting heavy volume but hasn’t been that efficient with it. He rushed for 90 yards on 25 carries in Week 10 but smashed the porous CMU defense in the prior game by racking up 162 yards on 26 carries. NIU is giving up 167.2 YPG on the ground.
Ohio RBs — Sieh Bangura and O’Shaan Allison are splitting the backfield carries as expected which has really watered down both of their stats this season. This is a premium matchup though as Buffalo is giving up nearly 200 rushing yards per game.
Rudolph finally had the explosion game that we knew was coming as he delivered 172 receiving yards on 8 catches while also scoring a touchdown. Kacper Rutkiewicz is still dealing with injuries so Rudolph’s recent spike in targets should continue. He has been targeted 23 times in the past two games and is a major matchup problem for Ball State’s secondary.
Kenneth Womack, WMU — He leads the Broncos in targets with 73 and has reeled in 54 passes for 483 yards/1 TD. His $5.1k price tag on DK is advantageous as he is clearly the WR1 for this team. He was targeted 15 times in week 6 against Miss State and 17 times in week 8 against Ohio so there is a lot of safety with play.
Ohio WRs — There are three primary options to look at when it comes to the Ohio pass-catchers. Sam Wiglusz is the alpha and leads the team in targets with 68 which he has turned into a 44-519-3 stat line. Miles Cross has caught 32 of his 59 targets for 417 yards/4 TDs while Tyler Walton has 26 receptions for 242 yards/2 TDs on 38 targets.
