Last week’s prop plays went 1-1 as Kaytron Allen punched took us to the window with a rushing touchdown, but unfortunately Mississippi State went away from their most productive player, which caused Jo Marks to miss his rushing yards prop. We enter Week 4 with a 2-2 record and feel confident about our featured prop bets for Saturday. Let’s take a look.
(Colorado vs. Oregon, Saturday afternoon game)
(+105, DraftKings Sportsbook)
The Colorado-Oregon game is going to attract a ton of eyeballs, and the hype surrounding Deion Sanders as well as the Buffaloes program is at an all-time high. With a 70-plus total, there is going to be plenty of offense in this one and there are actually several options we can look at. Superstar Travis Hunter will be out for a few weeks after taking a rough hit in the last game, which is going to open up plenty of usage for other Colorado skill players. It’s well known that I love Xavier Weaver, and at -105, he is a solid bet as well to score a touchdown. However, I am honing in on the plus money opportunity we get with Jimmy Horn. Through three games, he has been targeted 32 times and that high usage is only going to be higher with Hunter out. Let’s keep our anytime touchdown scorer streak going.
(Kansas vs, BYU, Saturday afternoon game)
(-285, DraftKings Sportsbook)
I don’t love presenting you with a -285 prop, but when you have a player like Neal scoring so frequently, we simply have to keep firing at it. Neal has already scored 6 touchdowns in the first three games of the season and is a threat to make a house call on any of his touches. As a 1,000-yard rusher in 2022, he found the end zone 10 times and is already on pace to obliterate that number in 2023. BYU’s rush defense has been mostly untested so far but did give up over 80 yards and 2 scores to AJ Green of Arkansas last week, so I’m not scared of them at all. Keep riding the hot hand with Neal until he fails us.
