What is JockMKT?
JockMKT is a fantastic new fantasy football platform that combines the financial market and sports. Bidding on a player as an IPO and getting paid out where they finish on the day. Example: “If fifth place overall is worth $20, and Tom Brady finishes with the fifth-most points, then every user holding Tom Brady receives $20 per share.” It is a fun way to try and buy low on top targets that week who have big time upside and can pay off their IPO price.
How does bidding work?
Bidding is very similar to Ebay. You enter a max bid and JockMKT will only use your max bid on players if needed. If no one competes you will get the player at their initial offering.

Five players to bid on in Week 6
Joe Burrow, QB, Cincinnati Bengals
Bid until top 15
Joe Burrow has the highest projected yards per attempt this week as he takes on the worst pass defense in football. The Lions are allowing an adjusted completion percentage of 82.1% and 46% of deep passes to be completed against them. As Burrow and the Bengals continue to increase their pass volume to reflect last season, he has a massive ceiling this weekend. I look for him to get the 300-yard bonus and throw for at least two touchdowns.

Matthew Stafford, QB, Los Angeles Rams
Bid until top 15
I love Matthew Stafford and the Rams this week, as they have the second-highest implied team total on the entire slate. They take on a Giants defense that is allowing the second-highest adjusted completion percentage and has been decimated by the deep ball, allowing 61% of deep passes to be completed against them.
Ja’Marr Chase, WR, Cincinnati Bengals
Bid until top 20
Ja’Marr Chase has massive upside this week and will be someone I hope to have winning bids on. Owning 46% of the Bengals air yards against the worst pass defense that allows the highest average depth of target and yards per attempt is a dream. He has multiple-touchdown, 100-yard upside this weekend.
Brandin Cooks, WR, Houston Texans
Bid until top 30
I am hoping to get Brandin Cooks close to his floor as his workload has been amazing this year, getting the highest percentage of his team’s air yards this season at 50.4%. Now back in a dome against a Colts team that is 31st DVOA against the deep ball, he should have a big game.
Javonte Williams, RB, Denver Broncos
Bid until top 50
I expect Javonte Williams to go mostly overlooked in this matchup, so I will have heavy exposure. If Melvin Gordon gets ruled out (unlikely), Williams’ price will skyrocket, but even with Gordon playing I want to get Williams on the cheap. He has the second-highest projected open-field yards on the slate and leads the NFL in broken tackle rate. He has been a big-play machine and even in a time share can put up massive numbers in this matchup.
