Tucker Kraft, Luke Musgrave Remain Limited On Thursday

According to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic, Green Bay Packers tight ends Tucker Kraft (hip) and Luke Musgrave (ankle) remained limited during Thursday's practice. Fantasy managers should keep a close eye on their status during Friday's final injury report, as it will likely clarify their availability heading into the weekend. Kraft suffered this hip injury during Monday evening's victory over the New Orleans Saints, but seeing him continue to participate in a limited capacity is a positive sign. Musgrave returned from his ten-game absence on Monday evening and is continuing to have his practice snaps monitored. In his return, Musgrave saw just one target, as Kraft continued to operate as the TE1 in Green Bay. If either tight end cannot suit up, Ben Sims would move up the depth chart but would not be a viable option in the fantasy playoffs. If Kraft can avoid an injury designation, he should be viewed as a low-end TE1 facing the Minnesota Vikings.

Tucker Kraft, Luke Musgrave Both Estimated As Limited Wednesday

Green Bay Packers tight ends Tucker Kraft (hip) and Luke Musgrave (ankle) were both listed as limited participants on Wednesday's practice estimate. The Packers noted that since they didn't practice on Wednesday, their injury report was merely an estimation. In other words, if they had practiced, both Kraft and Musgrave would have been limited. While any sort of appearance on the injury report is newsworthy and should be monitored, players who are limited on Wednesday typically progress to full participants by the end of the week and are able to play on Sunday. We'll gain more insight into the tight ends' statuses over the next two days of practice, but as of now, fantasy managers should expect them to suit up in Week 17 against the Minnesota Vikings. Of the duo, Kraft has the most fantasy appeal, ranking as a fringe top-12 option at the tight end position.

Packers Activating Luke Musgrave From Injured Reserve

The Green Bay Packers are activating tight end Luke Musgrave (ankle) from Injured Reserve on Monday, and he will play against the New Orleans Saints, according to a source. Musgrave underwent surgery on his ankle in October and hasn't played since Week 3, so the Packers will ease him back in. The 24-year-old caught 34 of his 46 targets for 352 yards and one touchdown in his first 11 NFL games (nine starts) in Green Bay last year. In four games before injuring his ankle this year, Musgrave was barely involved behind Tucker Kraft, catching five of seven targets for 22 yards. He probably won't be all the field that much on Monday night in his first game back after a long layoff, and Musgrave will be a low-upside deep sleeper in DFS formats for the final three games of the regular season and in the playoffs for the Packers.
