New York Knicks guard Miles McBride (groin) won't play on Wednesday versus the Clippers. Jalen Brunson (ankle) has been sidelined, so McBride had been filling in at the one spot. Unfortunately, he sustained a groin contusion in a recent loss to the Charlotte Hornets and will now miss his third-straight contest. With McBride out of the equation, Cameron Payne, who had only two points on Tuesday against Dallas, will likely remain in the starting lineup. Tyler Kolek and Precious Achiuwa should also continue to see extra minutes.

The 24-year-old logged 31 minutes in Wednesday's 120-105 loss to the San Antonio Spurs, ending the night with 11 points, five assists, and three rebounds while shooting 37.5% from deep. He popped up on the injury report because of a groin contusion. However, McBride is good to go and expected to remain in the starting lineup in place of the injured Jalen Brunson (ankle), keeping him relevant for fantasy managers.

New York Knicks guard Miles McBride is not in the starting lineup for Friday's clash against the Cleveland Cavaliers. With Josh Hart (knee) joining OG Anunoby (foot) on the sidelines, McBride was promoted to the starting unit for Thursday's matchup against the Chicago Bulls. He helped the team sneak an overtime win with a season-high 23 points. However, McBride will be back with the second unit on Friday as Anunoby is set to return to action. Precious Achiuwa, who has been filling in for Anunoby during his six-game absence, will remain among the starters.
