This is a great time to be a sports bettor. As sports betting becomes legal in more and more locations, the various sportsbooks are all vying for your business.
Targeting daily odds boosts bets can be one of the best ways to take advantage.
Four days a week, I’ll be highlighting some of the best odds boosts and where you can find them.
Sunday’s odds boosts are centered around the the O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 and an interesting odds boost for the MLB Opening Day contest between the New York Yankees and the Washington Nationals.

Let’s dive in.
NASCAR Odds Boost
O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 (3 p.m. ET start)
Boosted bets: Kyle Busch to win — +700 on FanDuel (was +600)
Chase Elliott to win — +890 on DraftKings (was +800)
Joey Logano to win — +1200 on William Hill (was +1100)
Busch or Logano to finish in the Top 3 — +155 on FoxBet (was +135)
There are a variety of different ways to grab some value with the O’Reilly Auto Parts 500.
Kevin Harvick is the odds-on favorite — he’s listed at +300 — but the sportsbooks are giving you plenty of options if you want to go in a different direction.
Busch is always a contender, and he’ll actually start ahead of Harvick in the No. 4 spot. He finished second in the All-Star race Wednesday despite starting in the No. 10 position.
Elliott won the All-Star race, which gives him two wins since returning to the track May 17. He’ll start eighth today, but he always has the potential to move up.
Last but not least is Logano, who will start ninth. His results haven’t been particularly impressive recently — he’s finished seventh or worse in each of his past five races — but he should feel pretty comfortable at Texas Motor Speedway. He has the third best average finish over the past 10 races at that track, trailing only Harvick and Busch.
My favorite odds boost for this race is grabbing either Busch or Logano to finish in the top three at FoxBet. You only need one of the two to come through in order to win your bet, and finishing in the top three is obviously easier than winning outright.

MLB Odds Boost
New York Yankees at Washington Nationals (7 p.m. ET July 23)
Boosted Bet: New York Yankees to win — -125 (and dropping) on PointsBet
The MLB season kicks off with a marquee matchup between the Yankees and Nationals Thursday at 7 p.m. ET. This will be a showdown between two of the best pitchers in the game: Gerrit Cole and Max Scherzer.
Both pitchers are capable of dominating opponents, but the Yankees have the clear edge in the hitting department. They mashed against right-handers last season, ranking third in wRC+, while the Nationals finished merely 11th. They also lost Anthony Rendon in the offseason, who was arguably their best hitter last season.
If you are looking to back the Yankees — who are the current favorites to win the World Series — you can grab them on PointsBet as a “crowd booster.” That means that the line will continue to drop with every 100 wagers that are placed on them. The line has already moved from -140 to -125, so this line could get to even money or better before game time.
