Welcome to another Saturday edition of MLB best bets. Mookie Betts fell short on the last leg of our parlay Friday. Saturday, we’ll look to bounce back with Game 3 of this four-game set between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta Braves, taking place in Dodger Stadium.

Atlanta Braves @ Los Angeles Dodgers

The Braves have taken control of this series and guaranteed themselves at least a tie after winning the first two games. Saturday, Atlanta will roll out RHP Bryce Elder, while the Dodgers have yet to announce their starter. Projections show the possibility for Emmet Sheehan to get the nod for LA; if not, it will be a bullpen game.

The Atlanta offense continues to lead the charge as they rank in the top five as a team in almost every hitting category. They roll into Saturday’s game winners of five straight and leading the MLB in scoring at 5.85 runs per game. Here, we will once again back the best lineup in the majors to do what they’re best at, light up the scoreboard.

Best Bet

Atlanta Braves F5 Team Total O2.5 Runs (-120, DraftKings Sportsbook) — 1-Unit Wager

Atlanta is the best first-five scoring team in the league, averaging 3.66 runs per first five. Over their last three games, the Braves are averaging 5.00 runs in the first five. With Sheehan likely starting for LA, the Dodgers should once again find themselves chasing behind Atlanta in another high-scoring affair. Best of luck.
