Tyler Anderson OVER 1.5 Walks Allowed

Tyler Anderson enters tonight’s start with an alarming 5.62 ERA and 5.98 xFIP over his 11 starts (57.2 innings). He’s only striking out 5.93 batters per nine innings and he’s walking 4.37 batters per nine. Anderson has issued at least two free passes in 10 of his 11 outings, including 20 over his past seven outings. On top of that, the Rangers check in with the third-best wOBA and wRC+ against lefties. They also have the sixth-highest walk rate and fifth-lowest strikeout rate against LHP. The under on Anderson’s 4.5 strikeout prop is -150 and the over on his 5.5 hits allowed is -160. Vegas thinks this could be another shaky outing for Anderson and I tend to agree.
