We’re on another strikeout prop this Saturday afternoon as we look to stay perfect with our writeups. Again – I’m going to keep this brief since this number is on the move.Twins righty Tyler Mahle has looked great in his first 11 innings with the Twins. He’s posted a 29.5% K% a the small sample size while Mahle’s slider and splitter have been dominant:

• Slider: 27.3% Whitff% – 35% K%
• Splitter: 41.7% Whiff% – 33.3% K%

The Yankees have the fifth-highest K% at 24.9% overall and against righties that number is a little higher – in 423 plate appearances vs right-handed pitching this season New York has struck out 25.5% of the time. The Bronx Bombers have one of the higher chase rates on pitches outside the strike zone while also ranking in the bottom 10 at making contact on pitches outside the zone. Mahle should pitch about six innings Saturday while punching out the six Yankees we need to cash our prop.
