Season Record: 54-50, +5.38 (Bonus not included in record)

The reason I list three official picks is because I don’t want to confuse anyone with too many picks. I also feel strong about my bonus picks but they are longer shots. If you’re looking for more be sure to check out our Pick Tracker

The Best NHL Prop Bets

Jason Robertson Over 3.5 SOG

(-125, BetRivers)

This price is too nice to pass up, despite needing four shots on goal from Jason Robertson. The Stars’ sniper has at least four shots on net in six straight games and he’s had five in five of those matchups. He enters Thursday’s matchup with the Buffalo Sabres riding a four-game point streak and he’s had two multi point games over that span as well. I’m very interested in his point prop as the Sabres have lost four of their last five games and they’ve allowed 21 goals over that span. Over the last month of the NHL season, the Sabres rank fifth in shots allowed at 5v5/60, according to Natural Stat Trick

Bonus

Dawson Mercer Point

(-130, DraftKings Sportsbook)

I’m going back to Mercer here as he’s riding a 10-game point streak in which he’s racked up 17 points. He has 10 goals and seven assists over that span, and he’s logged 20 minutes in back-to-back games for the Devils. Washington has coughed up at least three goals in nine of their last 10 games. Seven of Mercer’s 17 points have been assists, so consider his assist prop as well. Only the Sabres have a higher GA/60 than the Capitals over the last month of the season (3.49).

Bonus

Michael Matheson Over 2.5 SOG

(-106, BetRivers)

Matheson has been really good to us over the past couple of weeks as he’s cleared his 2.5-shot prop in seven straight games. He’s had at least five shots on goal in two of those matchups. I was hesitant to play him Tuesday against a very tough Carolina Hurricanes team, but he still came away with three shots over 27:53 of ice time. The ice time is the key for me as he’s averaging 26:01 per game over his last four matchups. He uses his legs to join the rush and he’s the trigger man on the first power play unit for the Habs.

Bonus

  • Patrick Kane Goal (+158, FanDuel Sportsbook)
  • Mika Zibanejad, Chris Kreider & Vladimir Tarasenko Points SGP (+260, Bet365)
  • Patrick Kane & Artemi Panarin Points SPG (-125, Bet365)

I have several more props to consider from Thursday’s episode of Mean Streets:
