Season Record: 26-18, +7.73 (Bonus not included in record)

I still like my bonus bets even though I don’t include them in the official record. The reason I list three official picks is because I don’t want to confuse anyone with too many picks. I also feel strong about my bonus picks but they are longer shots. If you’re looking for more be sure to check out our Pick Tracker

The Best NHL Props Bets

Dillon Dube Point

(-106, FanDuel Sportsbook)

Dube enters Tuesday on a three-game point streak, and he’s racked up one go and five points over that span. In fact, Dube has eight points in his last nine games. He’s seen an uptick in ice time, and he’ll skate on the left side of the Flames’ first line with Elias Lindholm and Tyler Toffoli. Consider his assist prop, as he’ll be playing with two shooters and has four assists in his last two games. The Sharks are short handed down the middle of the ice as Tomas Hertl is suspended. I expect the Flames to build off their five-goal showing in the first of two straight against San Jose.

Bonus

James van Riemsdyk Over 2.5 SOG

(+108, FanDuel Sportsbook)

A plus-money play on the way out here with JVR of the Flyers. The winger has three goals, six points and 17 shots in six games since returning to the lineup. He played 12 and 13 minutes in his first two games, but he’s played 20 in three of his last four matchups. Over those four games, he has three goals and 14 shots. He’s topped 2.5 in three of those four games and had two shots in the game he didn’t clear, which came against a stingy Devils team. He gets Columbus Tuesday, and they rank first in shot attempts and second in shots allowed at 5v5/60, according to Natural Stat Trick.

Bonus

Kent Johnson Point

(+114, FanDuel Sportsbook)

There’s another player I like inside that same game who will see a boost in ice time with Boone Jenner sidelined, and that’s Kent Johnson. The rookie scored in his last game and played a season-high 20:07 against a very good Dallas team. The Flyers are top 10 in shot attempts, high danger chances, scoring chances and expected goals against at 5v5/60. Johnson will get chances because he’s playing with Johnny Gaudreau and Patrick Laine. I’d put one unit on the point and half on a goal/assist.

Bonus NHL Parlay

  • Kevin Fiala, Anze Kopitar, Adrian Kempe Point (+170, SGP Bet365)
  • Kempe & Fiala O 2.5 SOG (+170, SGP Bet365)

The Duck are first in scoring chances, high danger chances, expected goals and shots allowed at 5v5/60. This is a bad hockey team, so consider the Kings’ first line and first power play. Kempe and Fiala’s shot props are in the tracker, but the odds have changed quite a bit. Make sure you’re following FTN Alerts for the latest.

I have more NHL props to consider from Tuesday’s episode of Mean Streets. There’s plenty of value when it comes to NHL assist props and I shared a few on the show. A lot of the odds have changed when it comes to Kempe, Jordan Kyrou and Drake Batherson but I still like those players.
