Season Record: 21-13, +7.82 (Bonus not included in record)

I still like my bonus bets even though I don’t include them in the official record. The reason I list three is because I don’t want to confuse anyone with too many picks. The bonus picks last week went 4-1. If you’re looking for more be sure to check out our Pick Tracker.

The Best NHL Props Bets

Mark Scheifele Over 2.5 SOG

(+100, BetRivers)

I usually look at Kyle Connor and Pierre-Luc Dubois when I play shot props from the Winnipeg Jets, but Mark Scheifele has my attention. He’s back to playing his 5v5 hockey with pass-first winger Blake Wheeler, which I think is great for his game. Scheifele has goals in three of his past four games and he’s had at least three shots in each of those four contests. In fact, the Jets’ No. 1 center has at least three shots on goal in nine of his last 10 games. The Panthers are very thin down the middle as they’ll be without Aleksander Barkov and Anton Lundell. Consider Cole Perfetti to hit the score sheet as he’s the third member of the Scheifele line.

Bonus

Jason Robertson Over 3.5 SOG

(-125, BetRivers)

We’re getting Robertson at a bit of a better price due to the matchup against the Maple Leafs. He’s a touch juiced in other spots (-140), which is why our Prop Shop is so valuable. That’s a price I still don’t mind a single, but certainly someone to consider in a parlay. Robertson has back-to-back games with seven shots on goal and he’s had at least four shots in 12 of his last 14 games. Robertson enters Tuesday on an 18-game point streak, in which he has 21 goals and 34 points. Overall, he has 23 goals and 41 points in 25 games. That’s why I’m taking a shot on his point prop as a bonus play.

Bonus

Marner checks in with a 19-game point streak, but he only has seven multi-point games over that span compared to Robertson’s 12 over his run, which is why I’m taking Marner’s shot prop. It’s at a good price and he’s put 19 pucks on the net in his last four games — clearing in each of them. Marner plays in all situations, and he may be pressing towards the end of the game if his team is down or if he’s looking for a point to extend the streak. William Nylander and John Tavares are better players to put in your parlays, but there’s too much juice to get involved as a single.

Andre Burakovsky Over 2.5 SOG

(-112, BetRivers)

BetRivers seems to have the best prices for shot props, but I’m seeing -125 at DraftKings, which isn’t bad. Burakovsky has found a home in Seattle as he’s averaging a career high 17:24 per game. He’s on pace to pass his career high of 61 points he set with the Avalanche last season. The winger has nine goals, 25 points and 66 shots in 24 games this season. Last year with the Avs, he averaged 1.8 shots per game compared to 2.7 this year. He’s also four points away from passing his career high of 14 power play points, which was set in 2020. He’s taken on a much bigger role in Seattle and he’s producing as a result. Burakovsky has had at least three shots on goal in three straight games and six of his past seven. The Habs played last night and allowed seven goals. They’ll get a much stiffer task Tuesday on the second half of a back-to-back. Look for Burakovsky to hit the score sheet as well.

Bonus

I suggested nine goal scorers on Tuesday’s episode of Mean Streets as well.
