MLB Prop Tracker (July 24)

Each day at FTN, we will try to find some unique prop bets that we can play to gain an edge. Here's a few that stick out on tonight's slate.

Mike Yastrzemski to Hit a Home Run (+430, SugarHouse) 

Here's what we know about Wil Crowe of the Pirates — he gives up a LOT of long balls. Like, 2.09 HR/9 so far this season over 60.1 innings. He's also had a hard time generating swings and misses — his 19.3% strikeout rate is well below league average. I like Yaz to hit a dinger tonight, and using our home run rater, he profiles very well.

Joey Wendle to Hit a Home Run (+550, FanDuel)

Look fam, we are going to hit one of these two today, and I am betting on Wendle hitting a dinger tonight. J.C. Mejía has gotten absolutely blasted this season by left-handed batters — to the tune of a .582 slugging percentage and a .409 wOBA. If Mejia only faced lefties, he would have an ERA of 9.13 this season. That's right — lefties mash him. Take the juice here and ride with Wendle.
