SuperDraft NBA DFS Picks (1/28)

SuperDraft is one of the hottest platforms in the market for DFS players. SuperDraft offers a unique twist on your traditional DFS experience with game modes like “Multiplier” and “Super 15.”

By eliminating the traditional salary cap structure and providing a points multiplier for every player on the slate, there is almost limitless flexibility when building lineups on SuperDraft. You can load up on all of the studs, but their point multipliers will be low. You can balance those plays out with some long shots that could score up to 2x their fantasy points to vault you to the top of the leaderboards.

If you haven’t played at SuperDraft yet, new users can get an instant $100 match with promo code “FTN” by following these steps.

  1. Sign up at SuperDraft.
  2. Enter the promo code “FTN”
  3. Provide your credentials to register.
  4. By using the “FTN” promo code when depositing, you will get a $100 match instantly of any deposit of $100 or more.
  5. Use this $200 worth of SuperDraft balance to fund your account and be playing in the lobbies.

This is the best promo code you can find, so be sure to use “FTN” and you will essentially double your deposit at SuperDraft. Then come back to FTNDaily and check out our daily SuperDraft content.

As either Zac Graham or I will continue to do all throughout the NBA season, I will provide you with my three favorite options on SuperDraft DFS for the slate at hand. In this case, we have 11 games on tap Friday.

Nickeil Alexander-Walker, New Orleans Pelicans (vs. DEN)

Score multiplier: 1.75x

The status of numerous Pelicans remains up in the air, as both Jonas Valanciunas and Brandon Ingram are questionable. If both (more important, if Ingram) happens to sit out, a massive boost would go the way of Nickeil Alexander-Walker. Despite the return of Devonte’ Graham, Alexander-Walker could jump into the starting lineup after going 11-22 from the field last game with 31 raw points. If Ingram is ruled in, it makes it hard to justify Alexander-Walker on such a large slate, but if he’s out, he becomes an elite value piece with a 1.75x multiplier for a player with a history of taking advantage of any boost in volume that he gets.

CJ McCollum, Portland Trail Blazers (@ HOU)

Score multiplier: 1.3x

Death, taxes and playing CJ McCollum when Damian Lillard is out. It’s a system play and I’m going right back to the well on Friday, even in a potential blowout if the Rockets lose Kevin Porter and Christian Wood. Sporting a 27.49% usage rate this season in games with Lillard and a 33.51% usage rate in four games without Lillard last season, McCollum becomes a true offensive alpha with the point guard sidelined. Against a Rockets team that ranks 21st or worse against all four of his player archetypes — primary ball handler (29th), scorer (29th), crafty finisher (24th), shooter (21st) — per aDvP, McCollum is arguably the best mid-tier option on the SuperDraft slate.

Bismack Biyombo, Phoenix Suns (vs. MIN)

Score multiplier: 1.7x

With both Deandre Ayton and JaVale McGee ruled out for the second consecutive game, Bismack Biyombo will presumably draw his second start of the season. A revelation since joining the Suns, Biyombo has averaged 17.7 points and 12.0 rebounds per 36 minutes this season, both career highs, while adding 2.3 blocks and 1.9 assists per-36-minutes. Against a Wolves team that will require the Suns to utilize Biyombo’s size, he’s a great bet for 30-plus minutes and at 1.7x, is my top overall value play on the slate.
