The Route Tree: NFL Wild Card Weekend Wide Receiver Matchups

Share

This list features my favorite receivers with the most significant projected edges in their matchups this weekend, powered by our FTN WR/CB Matchup tool. Below each player writeup, I will list my favorite prop bets. You can use this data for bets, DFS and fantasy football lineups.

Puka Nacua, WR, Los Angeles Rams

99.9 Matchup Rating

Nacua played in only 11 games for the Rams in the regular season and still finished only 10 yards shy of 1,000. Whenever Puka and Cooper Kupp are on the field together at 100%, the Rams offense performs at a high level. Monday, Nacua will see the Vikings’ defense for the second time this season. He put up over 100 yards against them in the first meeting, leading to a double-digit victory for the Rams. Per FTN’s DVOA-Adjusted Fantasy Points Against Tool, the Vikings have been the worst defense in the league against opposing wide receivers, allowing them to produce at a rate 22% above the league average. Minnesota allows the second-most yards per game to opposing wide receivers (183.2). Nacua led all Rams receivers in target share at 18%, averaging 9.2 targets per game. He’s exceeded 89 receiving yards in seven of 11 games this season, averaging 90 yards per game. Nacua has gone over 110 receiving yards in four of his last seven games, and the Vikings have allowed an opposing receiver to exceed 110 yards five times this season.
