Look ahead to the CFB Playoffs with FTN’s simulations. Using the expected bracket, given by the committee each week, our model will simulate the entire playoff to help our users find an edge in the betting market. Our model simulates every game of the tournament 10,000 times to ensure the most accurate projections.

How to use FTN’s CFB Playoff Simulations

Our simulations look at every matchup and project the winner, based on our simulations. Each column that represents a round displays the chances that the team wins in the round. So if Alabama is at 80% for round 1, that means they win their round 1 matchup in 80% of our simulations. Note that the top 4 teams have a first-round bye, so 4 teams won’t have projection for round 1. This is because they are automatically in round 2. We will update the seeding each week when the committee provides an update.
