Whether your fantasy football team is undefeated or struggling to stay in contention in your IDP leagues, you may be searching for defensive players that can replace your injured or underperforming players.

Notable injuries from Week 5 include Pete Werner, Uchenna Nwosu, Christian Wilkins, Dax Hill, Jevon Holland, Jaquan Brisker and Jordan Whitehead These injured players may be unavailable for Week 6, so be prepared to replace them in your starting lineup. In addition, there are four teams on bye this week including the Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Rams, Miami Dolphins and Minnesota Vikings.

Each week we will suggest at least three linebackers, three defensive linemen and three defensive backs as possible waiver wire additions. These defensive players are all rostered less than 55% on My Fantasy League and may be available in your league, so make sure you check your IDP waiver wire and consider adding these players to upgrade your roster.
