The Chiefs and Falcons both escaped Week 2 with a win in a game they probably should’ve lost and are set to make their second appearances in primetime. Neither offense has quite lived up to expectations and needs to get right sooner rather than later. Kansas City has been derailed by injuries, first placing Hollywood Brown on what looks to be season-ending IR before he even had a chance to make his debut, followed up by the loss of Isiah Pacheco, who reportedly fractured his fibula and will be sidelined for multiple weeks. As a result, a lot of value has opened up, skewing ownership toward the defending Super Bowl champs.
This season, FTN is utilizing contest simulations to analyze showdown contests. To do this, we simulate the results of the game 10,000 times while also projecting actual lineups that will be in the flagship contest based on our industry-leading projected ownership. This allows us to break down every aspect of the slate to help uncover every edge possible.
