The WNBA playoffs begin today, and we have a slew of Round 1 games to entertain us. The excitement around Caitlin Clark is palpable, and there will be plenty of eyeballs on her as the Fever are playing postseason basketball for the first time since 2016.

I will be highlighting two of my favorite prop bets for today’s Round 1 games, and that will give you the opportunity to diversify your action on a Sunday that is typically all about football. Let’s get into it.

Caitlin Clark Over 5.5 Rebounds

(+115, Caesars)

The Fever star has taken the league by storm and increased the overall popularity of the WNBA. The first-round matchup against the Sun isn’t exactly ideal, as they’re one of the more physical defenses in the league, and Clark’s numbers against them this season haven’t been great. However, it’s important to note that three of her four matchups with them took place before the Olympic break when she was still adjusting to the pro level.

There are a myriad of ways to attack this game with Clark props, as she is a certified stat-sheet stuffer and could make a huge splash in her playoff debut. Ultimately, I’ve decided to attack her rebounds prop over on Caesars where we are still getting solid value.

One of the more noticeable aspects of watching Fever games is the way Clark is always moving, with or without the ball. This is similar to the way Steph Curry is constantly running off screens or dragging his defender all over the floor. This movement enables Clark to grab more boards than you’d usually see at her position, which also helps her initiate the transition offense.

This is a much different version of Clark than what the Sun saw earlier in the year, and I have no doubt that she will be poised in this hostile environment. I am also going to be attacking over 33.5 PRA over on FanDuel Sportsbook where it currently sits at -125.

Napheesa Collier Over 32.5 PRA

(-106, FanDuel Sportsbook)

In any other year, Napheesa Collier would be a lock to win the MVP award, as she is averaging 20.4 PPG, 9.6 RPG, 3.4 APG, 1.9 SPG and 1.4 BPG. These are fantastic numbers, and she is the main reason for the Lynx resurgence in 2024. However, this isn’t any other year, and A’ja Wilson is having one of the best statistical seasons in WNBA history.

The Lynx have a favorable matchup against the Phoenix Mercury in the first round of the playoffs, and this is a team that Collier has dominated this year. She has averaged 17.3 PPG, 11.3 PPG and 3.7 APG against the Mercury this year and has had three double-doubles in those four games.

Additionally, we can bet Collier to get a double-double at +105 on Caesars, which is clearly great value as well.
