Jaylen Warren Quiet In Week 15 Loss

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren turned four carries into 12 yards and two targets into one catch for three yards in Sunday's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Pittsburgh was never able to establish the run in this one and could not sustain drives, especially in the second half. Warren has just one top-20 fantasy showing this season and continues to serve as a change-of-pace back with Najee Harris operating ahead of him. He is only worth rostering in deeper formats and should not be considered in starting lineups heading into a Week 16 meeting with the Baltimore Ravens.

Will Levis Benched, Replaced By Mason Rudolph

Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis has been benched and replaced by Mason Rudolph during the third quarter of Sunday's Week 15 game against the Cincinnati Bengals. The second-year quarterback led two touchdown drives early in the contest, but then the Titans turned the football over four times. At the time of his departure, Levis had completed eight of 12 passes for 89 yards, zero touchdowns, and three interceptions. Rudolph saw a little bit of action when Levis was injured earlier in the year, compiling a 59.4 percent completion rate, five total touchdowns, and five turnovers. Fantasy managers should stay tuned to see if Levis returns to the starting role next Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts, or if Rudolph wins the competition.

Calvin Austin III Not A Dependable Replacement

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Calvin Austin III is not a reliable fantasy option for Week 15 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Even though fellow receiver George Pickens (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday, Austin isn't a leading candidate to claim the bulk of his vacated opportunities. For proof, look no further than last Sunday when Pickens was sidelined and Austin still played just 35 percent of the offensive snaps, catching one pass for four yards. Rather than looking to Austin to fill in for Pickens, managers seeking flex production in deep leagues may be better off adding someone like Van Jefferson, Scotty Miller, or Mike Williams. Austin should be benched in most formats ahead of Sunday, especially as he takes on an Eagles defense allowing the third-fewest fantasy points to opposing receivers in 2024.

DK Metcalf May Not Bounce Back In The Face Of A Tough Matchup This Week

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf (shoulder) has struggled to produce for fantasy lately. To make matters worse, he has been battling various ailments over the last few weeks including a nagging shoulder injury. He should be good to go after being removed from the injury report on Friday. Metcalf's outlook may not improve in Week 15 when the Seahawks host the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night. The Packers are No. 9 against opposing wide receivers in fantasy football and Metcalf has struggled to find room to operate downfield since he returned from a sprained MCL in Week 11. Additionally, Metcalf has not always been quarterback Geno Smith's No. 1 target this season. With Jaxon Smith-Njigba emerging as an elite option, Smith is spreading the ball around more. Lastly, Metcalf's red zone targets are down this season. After earning 1.5 red zone targets per game in 2023, Metcalf has cut that number in half to 0.73 red zone targets per game this season. That number has significantly diminished his touchdown opportunities despite his yardage and reception totals being comparable to previous seasons. Metcalf is more of low-end WR2 until he can prove reliable as a high-end option once again. However, time is running out during this fantasy football season.

Chris Boswell A Top-Five Option In Week 15

Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell has had a remarkable season and will look to keep rolling against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. Philadelphia surrenders the third-fewest fantasy points to kickers and holds opposing offenses to the fewest total yards in the NFL. However, Boswell has proven time and time again that he can overcome difficult matchups. If Pittsburgh's offense stalls out in the red zone as it has at times this year, Boswell will be tasked with keeping the Steelers in the contest. Fantasy managers should have the utmost confidence starting Boswell in all redraft formats in Week 15.
