Miami Heat forward Nikola Jovic had eight points, seven boards, and four assists in Wednesday's meeting with the Celtics. Unfortunately, his efforts weren't enough, as Boston closed out the series in five games. At any rate, the 2022 No. 27 overall pick picked things up toward the end of the 2023-24 campaign. He ended the year by averaging 12.0 points and 4.6 rebounds in eight games in April. It appears Erik Spoelstra could give Jovic regular playing time next season, assuming he remains in Miami. However, the 20-year-old has a way to go before earning the trust of fantasy managers.
Miami Heat forward Nikola Jovic (back) has been cleared to play in Wednesday's Game 2 against Boston. He was a late addition to the injury report with a back issue, but the team has upgraded him from probable to available. The 20-year-old logged 26 minutes in Game 1 and had 10 points and six rebounds with 3-for-9 shooting. However, he's been inconsistent all season, so it wouldn't be surprising if we see an anonymous performance from Jovic on Wednesday.
Miami Heat forward Nikola Jovic (hamstring) will be available on Wednesday against Cleveland after missing the previous two games. He's shaken off a hamstring injury and a questionable tag. Jovic will likely make another start on Wednesday, with Kevin Love (heel) still out and Bam Adebayo (back) joining him on the shelf. However, Jovic's numbers have remained underwhelming as a starter, and fantasy managers should definitely tame their expectations. The 20-year-old has recorded 7.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in a starting role this season.
Miami Heat forward Nikola Jovic (hamstring) is in danger of missing a third consecutive game on Wednesday against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The 20-year-old forward has been battling a right hamstring strain. He is averaging 6.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists across 32 games this season. Haywood Highsmith will likely continue to start if Jovic cannot suit up. Haywood collected 11 points, five rebounds and two assists in 26 minutes of work on Monday versus Philadelphia.
Miami Heat forward Nikola Jovic (hamstring) will miss a second consecutive game on Monday versus Philadelphia. The young forward has suffered a right hamstring strain. Following Sunday's win over Detroit, Jovic said he feels like he can get back on the court soon, so it's possible the 20-year-old can return on Wednesday versus Cleveland. His injury gave Haywood Highsmith a chance to start on Sunday. He had a very quiet outing across 25 minutes and doesn't carry a lot of fantasy value.
