New York Knicks forward Bojan Bogdanovic is set to become a trade piece. According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, the Knicks are expected to guarantee Bogdanovic's contract for 2024-25, which would make him a trade candidate for the final season of his deal. Bogdanovic has a $19 million deal in place for next season, but only $2 million of it is guaranteed. The Croatian veteran moved to New York in February in a trade with the Detroit Pistons, averaging 10.4 points and 2.0 rebounds in 19.2 minutes off the bench. He was a good bench piece for the team, but the Knicks could be looking to use his contract in a trade for a star player.
New York Knicks forward Bojan Bogdanovic (wrist) underwent successful surgery on his left wrist and will be re-evaluated in six to eight weeks. The 35-year-old began the 2023-24 campaign in Detroit, where he averaged 20.2 points and shot 41.5% from deep. He was traded to New York ahead of the deadline. However, he struggled in 29 games with the Knicks, averaging only 10.4 points. Bogdanovic has one year left on his current contract. Although his fantasy stock can't get much lower, considering he also had foot surgery in April, he could work his way into the rotation in 2024-25. On the other hand, the Knicks could part ways with him, especially since the final year of his contract is partially guaranteed.
New York Knicks guard/forwardBojan Bogdanovic (foot, wrist) will have season-ending surgeries on his left foot and left wrist, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. The veteran sharpshooter has been playing with ligament damage in his left wrist, but he suffered a left-foot injury during his first minute in Game 4 on Sunday against the 76ers. He averaged 16.7 minutes in the series' first three games before lasting only 1:11 on Sunday. In Game 4, Precious AchiuwaandMiles McBride were effective in helping the Knicks win. They should continue to see an uptick in minutes, especially with Bogdanovic out.
New York Knicks guard/forward Bojan Bogdanovic (ankle) won't be available for Tuesday's Game 5 against the 76ers. The veteran sniper was hurt in Sunday's Game 4 and has been ruled out with a left foot contusion. Bogdanovic averaged 16.7 minutes in the first three games of the series before lasting only 1:11 on Sunday. The second unit was led by Precious Achiuwa and Miles McBride in the contest, and the two should have a big part to play again on Tuesday after helping the Knicks grab a 3-1 series lead with effective performances.
New York Knicks forward Bojan Bogdanovic (ankle) won't return to Sunday's playoff meeting with the 76ers. According to multiple reports on Sunday morning, the veteran sharpshooter has torn ligaments in his left wrist and could need surgery during the offseason. However, he wants to continue playing until the end of the postseason, although he suffered a left ankle contusion in Game 4 while diving for the ball. Bogdanovic has averaged 8.0 points and 4.0 rebounds in the series versus Philadelphia. But the Knicks are down Julius Randle (shoulder) and Mitchell Robinson (ankle), so Bogdanovic could have gotten more involved. DFS managers should expect to see him on the injury report ahead of Game 5 on Tuesday. If he doesn't play, Precious Achiuwa could get a few extra minutes.
