Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey (hip) will play on Sunday against the Spurs. He was on the injury report again because of a nagging hip issue, which has kept him off the floor over the last few weeks. However, the All-Star is back for a much-needed win over San Antonio, and his upside is higher now that Joel Embiid (knee) and Tobias Harris (knee) aren't available.
Philadelphia 76ers guard Kyle Lowry will sit out Sunday's meeting with the Spurs to rest. The 38-year-old has averaged 8.4 points and 4.6 assists in 21 games with Philly this season. However, his absence shouldn't have much of an impact on DFS participants. With that said, without Lowry on the floor, Cameron Payne should get more minutes, so he's worth considering for all DFS lineups, even more so if Tyrese Maxey (hip) doesn't suit up.
Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (knee) won't play on Sunday versus the Spurs. The reigning MVP recently returned from a lengthy layoff caused by a knee injury. However, he's played well since getting back on the floor, averaging 27.7 points, 7.3 steals, 3.7 assists, and 1.3 steals. But Philly will at least make the Play-In, so Embiid will get a night off to rest before likely suiting up on Tuesday against the Pistons. As a result, Mo Bamba, averaging 6.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks in 16 starts during the 2023-24 campaign, has value potential for DFS participants.
Philadelphia 76ers point guard Tyrese Maxey (hip) is questionable for Saturday's matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies due to left hip tightness. After missing two consecutive contests, the 23-year-old returned Thursday to suit up against Miami. He seemed unfazed by the injury posting 37 points, 11 assists, nine rebounds, a steal and a block in 41 minutes. Philadelphia could be missing several important players on Saturday, with Joel Embiid (knee), Tobias Harris (knee), and Mo Bamba (illness) also listed as questionable.
Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (knee) is questionable for Saturday's matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies due to left knee recovery. After missing 29 games, the big man returned for two consecutive contests, leading the 76ers to victories. On Thursday, Embiid posted 29 points, four rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal against the Heat. Philadelphia could be very shorthanded on Saturday, with Tyrese Maxey (hip), Tobias Harris (knee), and Mo Bamba (illness) also carrying questionable tags.
