The 25-year-old launched a fourth-inning Blake Walston offspeed pitch deep into the left-center seats to put the Giants up 8-0. Ramos' first-half performance was rewarded with an All-Star appearance, but his second half has left a lot to be desired. He is now slashing .229/.266/.399 with seven HR, 24 RBI, and four stolen bases in 223 second-half at-bats. Hopefully, he can end the season on a bit of a hot streak to instill some confidence going into the 2025 season.

Fantasy managers will want to get the 24-year-old first-time All-Star back into their starting lineups, especially since he's hit a cool .423 (30-for-71) with seven of his 15 home runs on the year against left-handed pitchers. Since the All-Star break, the right-handed hitting Puerto Rican outfielder has gone 13-for-56 (.232) with a homer, two doubles, a triple, seven RBI and a run scored in 14 games played. In his first extended chance at the big-league level, Ramos has helped as outfield depth in fantasy leagues in 2024 with 15 homers while hitting .285 (83-for-291).

Ramos was kept out of the lineup last Sunday due to a thumb injury but returned to game action all throughout the week. However, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports that Ramos is sitting today due to the same thumb injury that is continuing to linger. As a result, Mike Yastrzemski will shift to center field today. The 24-year-old has enjoyed a nice breakout campaign boasting a stellar .285/.344/.491 line with 18 home runs and 53 RBI. Fantasy managers should pay close attention to the Giants lineup on Monday evening prior to their game against the Nationals. Yastrzemski is worth a look in DFS today as he will face Reds right-hander Carson Spiers who has held a 4.13 ERA across his past six starts.
