First TD Bets — Wild Card Monday Slate

The NFL only has two weeks left in the regular season, and Week 17 is scattered all over the place. There is at least one game Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday this week. That leaves us with a small nine-game main DFS slate for Sunday, so the options will be a touch more limited than usual.

Anthony Richardson, Indianapolis Colts ($8,000)
As usual, Anthony Richardson has been volatile for the last few weeks. He’s alternated strong games and poor games for fantasy, but it also hasn’t been his fault through some of it. Richardson has seen plenty of drops and yet, he’s still ninth in points per dropback. There is a ceiling there when things click and we don’t have to just rely on his arm. Richardson is in the top six in carries, rush yards, rushing touchdowns, and red zone carries among the position. The Giants also play the 12th-most attempts in single-high coverage. What’s interesting there is Richardson has a 63% adjusted completion rate and a 61.3% accuracy rate when he sees that coverage. While he’s thrown six interceptions, those accuracy numbers are better than his overall numbers, so this does read as a spot where the ceiling is possible.
