Houston Texans tight end Brevin Jordan caught both of his targets for 19 yards and one touchdown during a win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 17. Despite operating behind Dalton Schultz, Jordan was able to contribute offensively with Houston's lone receiving touchdown. On that note, Jordan doesn't see much volume when Schultz is healthy and has never been a consistent touchdown scorer. As long as he remains in a depth role, Jordan can be left off the fantasy radar.
Houston Texans tight end Dalton Schultz turned four targets into just two catches for 19 yards during Sunday's win over the Tennessee Titans. It was a disappointing outing from the 27-year-old, who was just one week removed from a big eight-catch, 61-yard outburst versus Cleveland. With that said, the Texans' passing attack didn't have to do much on Sunday given that they jumped out to an early lead over the Titans and never looked back. A much more pass-heavy approach would have worked in Schultz's favor. He continues to rank as a low-end fantasy TE1 versus Indianapolis next week.
Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud returned from his two-game absence against the Tennessee Titans in Week 17, completing 24 of 32 passes for 213 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions. He also took one sack and added four rushing yards. While the rookie didn't have a huge game in this outing, he played turnover-free football while mounting six scoring drives and leading Houston to a divisional win late in the season. Fantasy managers should view him as a low-end QB1 option against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 18.
Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins caught seven of eight targets for 80 yards during Sunday's win over the Tennessee Titans. He also added a seven-yard rush. Collins has impressed in his two games since returning from a calf injury, and he also benefitted from C.J. Stroud returning to the fold this week after he cleared concussion protocol. As the No. 1 wide receiver in an offense led by a dynamic quarterback, Collins should be viewed as a solid WR2 option in most fantasy leagues for Week 18.
Houston Texans wide receiver Robert Woods (hip) was productive during Sunday's win over the Tennessee Titans, catching all four of his targets for 58 yards. He exited with a hip injury late in the game and was deemed questionable to return but did not register a target in the fourth quarter. Depending on the status of Woods and teammate Noah Brown (hip), the former has a chance to operate as the Texans' No. 2 receiver next week. If so, he would warrant some WR3/FLEX appeal in deeper fantasy leagues.
