Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft caught all six of his targets for 48 yards during the team's 33-10 win over the Minnesota Vikings in Week 17. The six receptions were a season-high for the rookie and tied for the team lead on Sunday night. Since Week 13, Kraft has seen six targets in all but one game and remains a staple of the Green Bay passing attack. Luke Musgrave (kidney) has been participating in practice on a limited basis, but there is a good chance he will be limited when he returns due to the nature of his injury. Kraft will be on the streaming radar next week against Chicago if Musgrave misses another week, but he would be a risky option if the former starter makes his return.
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs caught three of six targets for 28 yards during the team's 33-10 win over the Minnesota Vikings. The second-year receiver crashed back to earth after posting 79 yards and a touchdown last week, being outdone by Jayden Reed (chest), who exited early, practice squad receiver Bo Melton, and tight end Tucker Kraft. The trend of Doubs being completely fantasy irrelevant without a touchdown continued. Even with multiple starters out to start the game and even more exiting, the 23-year-old struggled to get anything going. Doubs will be in line to start again next week, but fantasy managers will find it tough to trust him in the final game of the regular season against Chicago.
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Bo Melton caught six of nine targets for 105 yards and a touchdown during the team's 33-10 win over the Minnesota Vikings. The second-year receiver was called up from the practice squad for the second week in a row with Christian Watson (hamstring) and Dontayvion Wicks (chest/ankle) ruled out, and he delivered with the first 100-yard receiving performance by a Packer this season. Jayden Reed (chest) was on a tear, scoring twice before exiting in the second quarter. Melton's number was then called multiple times, scoring a nine-yard touchdown late in the third quarter and racking up over 50 yards in the final quarter. With Reed's status for Week 18 now up in the air and no timetable for Watson or Wicks to return, expect Melton to be called up once again against Chicago.
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed (chest) exited Sunday's game before the second half with a chest injury and was later ruled out of the contest. The rookie came into the week with a chest injury and was later reported to have gotten a CT scan to evaluate the damage. Reed was on an absolute tear before exiting, catching six of eight targets for 89 yards and two touchdowns. Unfortunately, it sounds like the 23-year-old could miss next week's season finale against the Chicago Bears and may be in danger of missing the Wild Card round of the playoffs if the Packers do indeed make it in. Romeo Doubs and Bo Melton will take over as the one-two punch unless Christian Watson (hamstring) or Dontayvion Wicks (chest/ankle) is able to return for Week 18.
Green Bay Packers running back AJ Dillon (shoulder) exited the team's 33-10 win over the Minnesota Vikings in the third quarter with a stinger. The 25-year-old was listed as questionable to return but never came back to the game. Dillon had dealt with a thumb injury over the past few weeks. Since the return of Aaron Jones, the Packers' No. 2 back has done little to nothing for fantasy purposes, and last night was no exception. Before exiting, Dillon took seven carries for just 27 yards and was out-gained by No. 3 back Patrick Taylor. There is a good chance Dillon will sit out next week, meaning those playing their title games next week will be without him. However, he would not have been a recommended option against a stiff Chicago run defense. Keep an eye on this week's practice reports for a better indication of how long Dillon will be out.
