Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young (head) was diagnosed with a concussion and is sidelined indefinitely. The 25-year-old didn't suit up for Friday's one-point win over the Miami Heat because of an illness. However, he returned for Saturday's meeting with the Cleveland Cavaliers, although he exited midway through the fourth quarter after accidentally getting hit in the face by Isaac Okoro. The 2018 No. 5 overall pick is averaging 26.9 points, 10.8 assists, and 1.4 steals this season, so he'll be tough to replace. But until Young is back in the equation, Dejounte Murray, assuming he remains on the roster, should handle most of the ball-handling duties. At the same time, Jalen Johnson and Bogdan Bogdanovic could benefit in all statistical categories, especially on the scoring end.
Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young (illness) will play on Saturday versus the Cleveland Cavaliers. The 25-year-old has been under the weather, and he wasn't in the lineup for Friday's win over the Miami Heat. However, he is good to go, so he can be added back to all fantasy lineups. Young has played well against Cleveland over the years, averaging 26.4 points, 9.4 assists, and 2.9 rebounds, meaning he should also draw strong consideration from DFS participants.
Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young (illness) is questionable for Saturday's matchup with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Young didn't play in Friday's win over the Miami Heat, opening the door for Dejounte Murray, Bogdan Bogdanovic, and Jalen Johnson to lead the way on the scoring end. But with Bogdanovic also uncertain for Saturday's game because of right ankle soreness, Murray and Johnson could get even more scoring chances. At the same time, there's room for Saddiq Bey and Clint Capela to see an uptick in fantasy production.
Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young (illness) will miss the team's Friday matchup with the Heat in Miami. The star point guard will miss his first game since December 8th, where Bogdan Bogdanovic moved into the starting lineup, and Patty Miles saw increased run off the bench. Wesley Matthews (calf) has also been ruled out for Atlanta, meaning Garrison Matthews could see some minutes as he's played at least 13 minutes in each of the last six games Matthews missed. Young will look to recover tonight and return to action against Cleveland on Saturday.
Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young (calf) is expected to play on Saturday against the Washington Wizards. The 25-year-old has been on and off the injury report this season. However, he hasn't missed a game in over a month. Still, if the calf contusion keeps him off the floor, Dejounte Murray (hamstring) would likely handle things at the one. But Murray is questionable, so if he isn't available, Trent Forrest and Patty Mills could see more minutes. On the other hand, Jalen Johnson, Bogdan Bogdanovic, and Saddiq Bey would presumably lead the way on the scoring end.
