Charlotte Hornets point guard LaMelo Ball (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Wednesday's clash with the Bulls. He's been out for a couple of games already, and it looks like Ball will be forced to sit again on Wednesday due to a right ankle problem. Ish Smith and P.J. Washington have picked up starts during Ball's recent absence. The latter exploded for 43 points against Washington on Saturday and appears to be gaining momentum in fantasy basketball.
Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball (ankle) is dealing with ankle issues again and has been listed as questionable for their game against the New York Knicks on Monday. One of the biggest concerns has been Ball's ankles as they've forced him to miss several games over the past couple of seasons. He already missed a little more than a month due to an ankle sprain earlier in the season, so it wouldn't be surprising if the team gave him some extra rest days to make sure that doesn't happen again. If he's unable to suit up like in their last game on Saturday, Ish Smith could move into the starting lineup again. Nick Smith Jr. could also see some playing time, but he would be a bigger risk as a streamer.
Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball (ankle) will play in Monday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Ball is back after sitting out of Saturday's game due to right ankle soreness. The expectation is that Ball is going to have his normal role in the rotation. Fantasy managers should feel safe plugging Ball back into their lineups during Monday's contest.
Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball (ankle) is regarded as questionable for Monday's game against Minnesota. He sat out the second leg of a back-t0-back last time out and could now miss further action. Cody Martin rejoined the starting unit without Ball on Saturday and had a good game defensively but continued to struggle in the attack. Scoring won't be easy for Charlotte on Monday either, even with Ball in action, as Minnesota is ranked first in defensive efficiency.
Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball (ankle) is questionable for Saturday's game versus the visiting 76ers. The Hornets were in action on Friday night against the San Antonio Spurs, with Ball logging 32 minutes and finishing with 28 points. But the 22-year-old is dealing with soreness in his right ankle, the same one he injured at the end of November. Nonetheless, if Ball isn't on the floor for this one, Terry Rozier will presumably absorb most of the ball-handling responsibilities, increasing his usage rate. At the same time, Rozier, along with Miles Bridges, should also get most of the scoring opportunities if Ball isn't in the lineup, with Brandon Miller battling for leftover scraps.
