Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball (ankle) will miss his 13th consecutive game on Friday as the team has ruled him out again due to tendinopathy in his right ankle. The up-and-coming point guard hasn't been able to shed the ankle issues this season and consistently remain on the court. He's only appeared in 22 games so far and the Hornets look like they'll be headed to the draft lottery yet again. Ball's injury concerns will be a major issue in their rebuild process and fantasy managers will want to keep tabs on any updates throughout the season. For now, newly acquired Tre Mann should continue to play with the starting five alongside Brandon Miller and Cody Martin.
Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball (ankle) won't play on Thursday against Utah. Ball has missed more than a few games this season. However, his latest ailment, right ankle Tendinopathy, has kept him off the floor for Charlotte's last 11 games. At this point, nobody can say for certain when Ball will be back in the lineup. But until that happens, Tre Mann, averaging 13.7 points, 7.3 assists, and 7.0 rebounds in three starts with the Hornets, is undoubtedly worth adding to any fantasy lineup.
Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball (ankle) remains out on Wednesday night against Atlanta. The 22-year-old is averaging a career-high 23.9 points with 8.0 assists, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.8 steals. However, he's missed his last 10 games, although he's missed far more time throughout the 2023-24 campaign. With Terry Rozier (shoulder) now in Miami, Tre Mann, who nearly had a triple-double on Monday night against Indiana, is worthy of a starting spot in all fantasy lineups. At the same time, Grant Williams, coming off a 21-point showing, has likely found his way onto fantasy rosters in the last few days. Of course, Miles Bridges and Brandon Miller are still the safest options in terms of potential on the scoring end.
Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball (ankle) remains out on Monday against the Pacers. The 22-year-old has averaged a career-high 23.9 points during the 2023-24 campaign. However, he's missed 30 games already this season, which hasn't been for his fantasy potential. At any rate, nobody can say for certain when Ball will return. But until that happens, Tre Mann, who had nine points in his first game with the Hornets on Saturday, could remain in the starting lineup. At the same time, fellow OKC teammate Vasilije Micic, coming off an 18-point, nine-assist performance, will be a popular streaming option.
Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball (ankle) has been ruled out for an eighth consecutive game and will have played a total of 22 out of a possible 51 games so far this year. The 22-year-old has been battling ankle injuries for a couple of years now and has only played 58 combined games from last year until now. His talent and abilities still warrant keeping him on all fantasy rosters unless there aren't any IR spots. After the Hornets traded away Gordon Hayward and P.J. Washington, their going to go deep into the bench for the Friday night game against the Milwaukee Bucks. Brandon Miller, Ish Smith, and Bryce McGowens are the best options with Ball sidelined.
