Bradley Beal On Track To Return Thursday

Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal (hamstring) is on track to return to action on Thursday versus Dallas. The former All-Star injured his left hamstring a week ago and sat out the team's final game ahead of the All-Star break. Beal has managed to shake off the hamstring problem during the break and recently underwent a procedure on his broken nose. He has played his last nine games wearing a mask after breaking his nose last month. Beal has had two of his three best scoring performances of the campaign in February, including a season-high 43 points in his return to Washington, and he should have a strong finish to 2023-24 as the Suns are in the midst of a fierce battle for a top-four playoff seed in the Western Conference.

Kevin Durant Notches Efficient 18 Points In All-Star Game

Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant scored a very efficient 18 points in Sunday's All-Star game in Indianapolis. The former All-Star Game MVP shot 7-for-12 from the field and 4-for-8 from downtown en route to 18 points. Durant also had five rebounds and five assists with two steals in 25 minutes. The veteran star has been extremely efficient with his work lately, shooting at least 60 percent in three of his last four appearances with the Suns, and the team will need more of the same for the rest of the way, with Phoenix playing catch-up in a battle for a top-four seed in the Western Conference. Durant is currently on track to record his fifth season with at least 28.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists.

Bradley Beal Out Against Pistons

Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal (hamstring) is out for Wednesday's tilt versus the Detroit Pistons, but head coach Frank Vogel said the team doesn't believe Beal is dealing with a serious injury following Tuesday's win over the Sacramento Kings. Beal injured his left hamstring early in the game and couldn't return, so it's no surprise the Suns will keep him off the floor on the second night of a back-to-back against the 8-45 Pistons. Phoenix returns to action on Feb. 22 for a battle with the Dallas Mavericks, which marks the All-Star guard's next chance to play. Kevin Durant and Devin Booker will dominate usage on Wednesday, with both Royce O'Neale and Eric Gordon being fantasy streaming options against a Pistons group that sits 27th in the NBA in opponent points per game (122.1). Gordon has averaged 14.6 points, 2.9 assists, 2.8 triples, and 2.1 rebounds in 23 games without Beal in 2023-24.

Bradley Beal Injured On Tuesday Night

Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal (hamstring) won't return to Tuesday's matchup with the Sacramento Kings. The veteran wasn't around long in this one, logging just five minutes before exiting because of a hamstring issue. He's averaged only 18.7 points during the 2023-24 campaign, nearly five points fewer than last season. Beal has also missed 24 games due to a variety of ailments, so fantasy managers are already planning to be without him for Wednesday's game with the Detroit Pistons, the final contest before the All-Star break. That said, Kevin Durant and Devin Booker will pick up most of the slack offensively, with Grayson Allen and Eric Gordon likely to get more involved on the scoring end until Beal returns.

Bradley Beal Will Play On Tuesday Versus Kings

Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal (nose) made an appearance on the injury report due to a nasal fracture but he's listed as available for the Tuesday night matchup against the Sacramento Kings. Fortunately, Beal hasn't had to miss a game since December 27, and it doesn't look like that streak will come to an end. The 30-year-old has put together some big-time games over the last few outings including a 30-point and 43-point outing against the Jazz and Wizards respectively. Since Beal will be on the court, he remains a must-start in all fantasy formats and should be able to find a rhythm against a weaker defensive squad in the Kings.
